Services
From raw material to delivered product.
Corrugation
Once pulp has been dried, it's time to start creating your cardboard. For corrugated cardboard, we use two pieces of paper or card called liners and a portion of fluted cardboard. The fluting helps us give the cardboard further strength and a higher level of protection against damage.
Printing
Next, we print your design onto the cardboard. Depending on your customisation and product needs, our expert platedesigners create printing plates for the machine. Our high-end machines, then operate at high precision whilst printing your designs out.
Strapping & Delivery
Boxes can be constructed in a number of different ways, but the most common way is to use flaps and slots. For more robust boxes, we utilize either glue and stitching to fold sections together and keep the box secure. It's off to the client then.

- What does Mega Pack manufacture?
- Mega Pack (K) Limited manufactures corrugated board and cartons in Nakuru, Kenya. Its range includes vegetable boxes, avocado boxes, telescopic flower boxes, food-safe pizza boxes and regular slotted cases, all available in custom sizes with custom printing.
- Which industries does Mega Pack supply?
- Mega Pack supplies fmcg, flower farms, clothing and garments, export processing zones (epzs), matchboxes, vegetable growers and exporters and avocado growers and exporters customers across East Africa.
- Can Mega Pack print custom branding on boxes?
- Yes. Custom printing is available across the full Mega Pack range, and boxes can be produced to custom dimensions rather than standard sizes only.
- What makes a flower export box different from a standard carton?
- Flower export boxes use a telescopic design, where a separate lid slides over the base rather than folding shut. This gives higher compression strength for stacking in air freight, allows the box to accommodate varying stem lengths, and protects blooms during long-distance cold-chain transport. Mega Pack manufactures these for the group's own farms and for other Kenyan growers.
