- What is the difference between Roseto, Sierra Flora and Florenza?
- The three farms are distinguished mainly by altitude and the rose head size that follows from it. Sierra Flora at Elburgon is the highest site and produces the largest heads. Roseto at Rongai sits at 1,950 metres and produces medium to large heads. Florenza, at 1,750 metres at Ol'banita and 1,700 metres at Solai, produces small to medium heads well suited to bouquet and mixed-arrangement work.
- Why does altitude matter for growing roses in Kenya?
- Higher altitude means cooler nights, which slow bud development. A rose that takes longer to open develops a larger head, thicker petals and a stronger stem, and it holds vase life better after cutting. This is why Kenyan highland farms compete on quality rather than on volume alone, and why Mega Spin Group positions each of its farms by elevation.

- Florenza is Fairtrade certified. Roseto and Sierra Flora operate to the same production and post-harvest standards but do not currently hold Fairtrade certification.

- The group grows 129 catalogued varieties across its three farms: 46 at Roseto, 49 at Florenza and 34 at Sierra Flora. These span standard and spray roses alongside alstroemeria, chrysanthemum, eucalyptus, limonium and hypericum.
